Setting up VDI on Home Network
Below are Instructions for setting up the All in One computer with your wireless and a remote number with interaction desktop. If you have any issues Call Jason Martin, (630)442-4223.
- Select the networking button
- In the networking popup select the Add button.
- In the Wireless Connection popup Press the refresh button. It should find your wireless in the SSIS field. Select it and Select OK. *If Full SSID Does not appear, you will have to manually enter
- In the Network settings screen enter the passphrase for you wireless network. Select OK.
- When you are connected correctly it should show Connected to ‘your network name’ and have the network information (Including IP Address) below and the wireless symbol in the upper right corner of the screen. Once connected select close.
- After a successful connection, I have found best results is to reboot device from the log in screen, wait for successful network connection (as pictured above showing an IP address) and then log in
- Login using your normal Username, 4 Digit Pin Code, and 6 Digit Token. *There will be no spaces between Pin and Token (i.e. – 2466345654 – THIS IS AN EXAMPLE DO NOT USE THIS CODE)
- Double click the session to start. If the box has a “+” and says add session then double click the plus and type “vdi.weathertech.com” in the popup.
- As far as the phones, once you are logged in via VDI on your home device, you can log in on the iPhone by following these steps:
- *Under Interaction Desktop please go under File, Change Station
- *Station Type needs to change to Remote Number to use your cell
- *Enter your cell number with a 1, area code, and then the number (without any spaces). For example: 16304504331
- *Select Persistent and then Change Station
- *Once you change your status to “available”, you will be able to pick up calls on your cell, but will have to reference the computer to accept and call out. Your phone will not automatically dial. If a call is coming through on your desktop, you will have to accept it and then a couple of seconds later, it should transfer and ring to your cell phone so you can connect to the customer.
